ABOUT US OF SCHOOL
The school is situated at Ram Bagh Road, near new grain market Barnala. It was started on 25th March 1983 with eighty students. Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir is serving in the field of education from more than 35 years. Being affiliated from PSEB, our school has now established as one of the best schools in providing science, commerce and arts at senior secondary level.

Vidya Bharti, an All India Education Institute more than 2800 schools and colleges all over India even in remote areas, Sarvhitkari Educational Sociey (Regd.) Chandigarh(PB) is its state unit. It is running more than 123 Vidya Mandirs & 250 Sanskar Kender’s as in slum and remote areas to teach each and everyone and incalcate moral value among all. It’s main purpose is to preserve our ancient culture and heritage. Sarvhitkari Sen. Sec.Vidya Mandir, Barnala is affilated to Sarvhitkari Educational Society (Chandigarh)pb . A unit of Vidya Bharti (Punjab) Its foundation was laid in 1983 with the strength of 80 children under the guidance of its founder Principal Sh. Satinder Gupta & many social workers. Now it has grown one of the leading institutions of Punjab .The Vidya Mandir has two branches one comprises Shishu Vatika, Pre-Nursery to 3rd class, having a separate building and the main building from IVth to 10+2(Science, Commerce & Arts) group. The total strength of the school is 1850. The strength of the school is increasing day by day due to devoted efforts of school management, staff and marvelous results of the students. The school is affiliated to P.S.E.B. Mohali. It is being managed efficiently by the experienced management downtrodden child comprising of persons from all walks of life. The School is also running 19 Sanskar kender’s (Evening Classes for the downtrodden children) in the slum areas of Barnala where drop out children are given free education along with moral values in order to bring them to main stream of life. Also free medical check up is carried out from time to time, last but not the least the contribution of parents is also praise worthy.
